This would probably be the cheapest buffet (sort of) that I know. But this is not like any buffets that we all know because you don’t get a second serving on your order. But for $1.25 or 10,000kip, you can put everything that you can fit in your plate. For me, it’s already a good deal.
For $1.25, you get to try a variety of local vegetable cuisines like these ones:
There are also a variety of fried rice and noodles that you can choose from. This is indeed a nice offer for those who are travelling on a tight budget.
Aside from the vegetable meals, you could also buy grilled pork, chicken and fish for an additional price.
Drinks are available as well for an additional cost. The only downside of eating in this market is the abundance of mosquitoes so you better put on some mosquito repellent lotion before you head on to Luang Prabang night market.
Be sure to try this vegetable buffet in Luang Prabang when you visit Laos.
