My friends and I decided to visit Pizza Co in Siem Reap, Cambodia (located at Angkor Trade Center) to have pizza for dinner. Sometimes, when we get tired of the flavors of the local food, we look for a familiar taste that we’re used to and pizza is one of those familiar and comfort foods that we usually crave for.
That time, Pizza Co has ongoing promotion for a medium sized BBQ Porkchop pizza (with sausage and cheese stuffing), 6 pieces buffalo wings and a small loaf of garlic bread for around $18.5. We ordered an additional bowl of salad (around $5) and refillable glasses of Coke ($1.60/glass).
BBQ Porkchop Pizza
The sausage and cheese stuffing on the pizza was really delicious (available for all pizza flavours) but the bbq sauce on the pizza didn’t work for me that much. It just didn’t quite work well with the cheese.
The salad bowl is quite small but if you’re used to eating out at Wendy’s then you develop a skill for making a small bowl accommodate a lot of stuff. The salad bar has a lot of choices and you can put anything you want as long as it fits your bowl. The best trick would be to put lettuce at the bottom and support it with carrot and cucumber sticks on the sides.
Albeit the small size, it’s tasty, savory and delicious. Probably one of my favorites in Pizza Co.
The garlic bread tasted really good. It was served warm and the outer layer is crusty while the inside was still soft and savory, one of my faves too in Pizza Co.
