I went to Pantip Plaza on my last trip to Bangkok to buy a flip cover for my android tablet and spend an hour scouring various shops and stalls. After an hour of walking around Pantip Plaza, I found one that only cost around 350 Baht or approximately $12 for a PU leather cover that fits my tablet perfectly.
Since I already had found the cover that I wanted, I spotted a restaurant at the mezzanine level of Pantip Plaza and have decided to check it out. It was a Korean BBQ restaurant and after checking the menu, I have decided to have dinner there. While looking for something to order, I spotted a small brochure on their table about a 59 Baht Porkchop dish.
I asked the waitress if it’s available and she said that it’s a promotion only applicable to AIS (local telecom) users. It must have been my day since I was using an AIS sim. I gave her my number and she took my order. Hurray for a 59 Baht porkchop meal.
After only a few minutes of waiting, my ordr has arrived and wow it was huge. The serving was huge and it was originally priced 119 Baht for non-AIS users. The meat was very tended and juicy and the sauce as very savory and delicious. The fries were crispy and the vegetables tasted great as well.
The restaurant is also very clean and comfy. However, it’s not easy to find as the signage of this restaurant gets lost in the clutter outside Pantip Plaza. If you just enter the front doors of Pantip Plaza, walk straight and to your right you should see an escalator that could take you to the mezannine level. Don’t take the escalator just right in front of the entrance door because that one will take you straight to Second Floor. Be sure to check it out the next time you visit Bangkok. Without without promo, it’s a great value for money and the porkchop taste really good.
